Between the age of 16 and 19, I went around my home town filming pretty much everything which would happen around myself.

Amateur footage, rough, taken with a mini-dv camera.
The following years, I started editing that footage, trying to make sense of my late teens.

The result is 'Substitute', a 70 minutes film about teenagers growing up and developing a relationship with their own image (incarnated in the camera).

Due to its intimate nature, some of the portrayed people felt that this film was to remain private.
Also, since music played an important role in our lives, the several scenes where me and my friends listened to our favourite songs led to unavoidable copyright infringements.

Because of that, this film is not (and probably will never be) publicly available in its full form.

However, two small fragments of the film are available below.
